These speaker stands are made of tough, steel construction, featuring two strong tubular supports.
Quality Construction
Audiophiles will be pleased to know that the two small tubes can be filled with dry sand and/or lead shot, for an even more solid support!
(with a suitable sealant applied to the base to prevent leakage)
The large tube has holes at the top and bottom designed to run your speaker cable.
The base incorporates four spikes to couple the stand to the floor, giving a rock solid support for your speakers. (Spikes can be removed for use on Hardwood floors, although it would be wise to get some felt or rubber pads from a hardware store to further protect the floor)
The overall effect of using a quality stand is to produce cleaner, more accurate sound from your existing speakers.
